## How Many Jobs Are Coming, and Why Do the Numbers Differ?

Several job figures are attached to this plant, and they count different things.

Haas has [about 1,700 total employees at its Oxnard headquarters](https://www.sfgate.com/california/article/manufacturing-nevada-22404898.php). In October 2025, Haas vice president Peter Zierhut said Oxnard [will remain the company’s headquarters and will still have about 1,000 employees](https://www.vcstar.com/story/news/local/2025/10/21/haas-committed-to-ventura-county-despite-nevada-expansion/86755207007/).

## When Will the Henderson Plant Actually Open?

The plant is still being built, as [the Henderson location is an active construction site and is not open to the public](https://www.haascnc.com/about/careers.html), and people are asked not to visit or apply in person.

The opening dates in different sources do not line up exactly, so here they are with their owners and dates.

- The Haas careers page lists the site as preparing for [operations to begin in Q4 2026](https://www.haascnc.com/about/careers.html).
- The plant is expected to be [fully up and running next fall](https://www.ktnv.com/neighborhoods/henderson/haas-automation-hiring-more-than-1-000-workers-at-new-henderson-plant-during-final-job-fair-of-year), according to KTNV's job fair report.
- In October 2025, the company's plan was to [start operating there in early 2027](https://www.vcstar.com/story/news/local/2025/10/21/haas-committed-to-ventura-county-despite-nevada-expansion/86755207007/).

## How Big Is the New Factory?

The new building is a [2.4-million-square-foot, $350 million factory](https://www.vcstar.com/story/news/local/2025/10/21/haas-committed-to-ventura-county-despite-nevada-expansion/86755207007/), according to Haas vice president Peter Zierhut, and the job fair site includes [more than two million square feet of factory space](https://www.ktnv.com/neighborhoods/henderson/haas-automation-hiring-more-than-1-000-workers-at-new-henderson-plant-during-final-job-fair-of-year). The address is [2055 Via Inspirada, Henderson, NV 89044](https://www.haascnc.com/about/careers.html).

In a City of Henderson announcement republished in December 2024, Haas had [already invested more than 100 million dollars in site acquisition and development and expects to invest more than 300 million dollars in construction](https://www.tradeandindustrydev.com/region/nevada/news/nv-haas-automation-expand-henderson-expected-33902) over the next two years, on a [280-acre site](https://www.tradeandindustrydev.com/region/nevada/news/nv-haas-automation-expand-henderson-expected-33902).

The plant is expected to [help double Haas' annual revenue](https://www.ktnv.com/neighborhoods/henderson/haas-automation-hiring-more-than-1-000-workers-at-new-henderson-plant-during-final-job-fair-of-year) once it is fully running. In October 2025, Haas was generating [about $1.2 billion a year in sales](https://www.vcstar.com/story/news/local/2025/10/21/haas-committed-to-ventura-county-despite-nevada-expansion/86755207007/). Murray said the plant [is going to give us capabilities to go to two to $3 billion in revenue](https://www.ktnv.com/neighborhoods/henderson/haas-automation-hiring-more-than-1-000-workers-at-new-henderson-plant-during-final-job-fair-of-year).

The Haas careers page lists the [October 17th career fair at Palace Station on West Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas](https://www.haascnc.com/about/careers.html) with registration closed. That same Saturday, the [final job fair of the year was held at the new plant on Via Inspirada](https://www.ktnv.com/neighborhoods/henderson/haas-automation-hiring-more-than-1-000-workers-at-new-henderson-plant-during-final-job-fair-of-year), according to KTNV, with [hundreds of people coming in by appointment](https://www.ktnv.com/neighborhoods/henderson/haas-automation-hiring-more-than-1-000-workers-at-new-henderson-plant-during-final-job-fair-of-year).
