Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman [noted](https://www.newsgram.com/economy/2025/10/22/car-sales-more-than-doubled), citing a media report, that car sales more than doubled to over half a million units after the GST cuts took effect on September 22, while [Tata Motors](https://www.tatamotors.com/) said it delivered over **100,000 cars** in the 30 days from Navratri to Diwali, a **33%** year-on-year surge. ## The Skills That Matter What exactly are Indian companies hiring for?
