# Setting Your Notifications and Alerts

The bell at the top of every page shows open alerts, like members who have gone quiet or just joined. Here is how to read and clear them.

## Stay On Top of Your Caseload

You cannot watch every member all day. Alerts bring the important changes to you, so you can act on them when you have a moment.

## Step 1: Open Notifications and Alerts

Select the bell at the top right of any page. A red dot means you have unread alerts.

## Step 2: Read Your Alerts

The panel shows how many alerts are open and lists them by type. Each type shows its priority and how many alerts it has, followed by the members it applies to and how long ago it happened. Examples include:

- Gone quiet (high): a member you have not been in touch with for a while.
- New member (low): someone new joined your organization.

## Step 3: Clear Them

Once you have dealt with your alerts, select Mark all read.

## Get Your Queue by Email

On the Home screen, the Getting started checklist includes Turn on the daily digest. It sends you tomorrow's queue by email.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**Are at-risk alerts available?**

Members are already marked At Risk after 90 days without activity, and you can filter the member table on Home by it. Automatic alerts that notify you are coming soon.

**What should I do about a Gone quiet alert?**

Reach out to the member, then log a check-in so the alert reflects the contact.

**Does marking an alert read fix the underlying issue?**

No. It clears the alert from your list. The member still needs your follow-up.
