The Access Coordinator greets patients and visitors, registers and updates patient information, schedules medical, dental, and behavioral health appointments, verifies insurance and preauthorizations, manages electronic medical records, collects payments, reconciles accounts, and maintains the clinic’s front and waiting areas. The role requires a GED or high school diploma, computer proficiency, strong customer service and communication skills, HIPAA and 340B compliance, and the ability to travel to COMC locations; previous healthcare office experience is desirable.
