## Description

JSSA is hiring an Assistant Controller to support its accounting department by ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, grant and contract billing, payroll allocations, budget analysis, month-end and year-end close, cost-rate preparation, audit support, and regulatory compliance. The role reports to the Controller and supervises grants finance management staff. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least seven years of progressive accounting experience, five years of supervisory experience, strong GAAP and grant reporting knowledge, and experience with systems such as Sage Intacct, Dayforce, or Bill.com. The position begins with five days working from the office and may become hybrid with three office days over time.
