## Description

California State Polytechnic University, Pomona is hiring one tenure-track Assistant Professor of Aerospace Design and Systems Engineering to begin in Fall 2027. The position is on-site in Pomona and involves teaching undergraduate, upper-division, and graduate courses; contributing to aircraft, spacecraft, and systems-engineering curricula; supporting senior design and project-based learning; mentoring students; pursuing external funding; and developing scholarly research. Applicants need a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a closely aligned field, with preferred qualifications including aerospace design and systems engineering expertise, teaching and research experience, and a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
