## Description

TrendAI is hiring an Applied AI Sr. Backend Software Developer to design, develop, test, and support scalable SaaS products for TrendAI Vision One. The role owns complex backend features, uses AI coding assistants throughout the development lifecycle, reviews AI-generated code, designs microservices and event-driven architectures, writes infrastructure and test code, mentors junior engineers, and troubleshoots distributed-system issues. It is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the Ottawa office and offers health and dental coverage, retirement matching, paid time off, and annual holidays.
