## Description

Carrier Global Corporation is hiring a Calculation Engine Developer for its Modeling and Simulation team to develop and maintain calculation engines supporting commercial HVAC equipment and sales tools. The role applies thermodynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods to create accurate engineering algorithms, collaborates with optimization engineers and global teams, supports integration into modeling and configuration platforms, and ensures model accuracy, robustness, scalability, and maintainability. Candidates need a master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least two years of relevant engineering experience, programming experience in Python, Modelica, C++, or a related language, and HVAC/R or power plant equipment experience.
