## Description

Bosch Research is hiring a Chief Expert in Robotics to lead the technical implementation and architecture of advanced robotic systems, translate AI algorithms into production-ready hardware and software, deploy robots in manufacturing, logistics, and field environments, define the robotics research roadmap, and make key hardware-software and make-or-buy decisions. The role also involves mentoring researchers, collaborating with business units and external partners, and scouting robotics startups and academic institutions. Candidates need a master's degree or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on industry experience, many years of robotics or autonomous-systems experience, expertise in robotics stacks and modern robotic learning, and fluent English. The position is available in Renningen, Pittsburgh, or Sunnyvale, with flexible part-time, mobile, and job-sharing options.
