## Description

Pylon is hiring an early-finance hire to build an automation-first accounting function under the CFO. The role owns full-cycle AP/AR, general ledger accrual accounting, vendor mapping, loan-level accounting and funding reconciliations, SOC 1 Type II controls, production reporting, and automation across the GL, loan origination system, warehouse funding, and command center. Candidates should have 5–10 years of progressive mortgage or structured-credit experience, strong FASB accounting knowledge, a Big Four foundation, and a proven close, audit, or system-implementation record. The position is remote-first and designed to grow into broader leadership.
