## Description

Sphera is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as a resident security subject-matter expert within its DevOps squad for software deployed in U.S. government and Department of Defense environments. The role owns RMF/ATO lifecycle management, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, FedRAMP and FISMA compliance, DevSecOps integration, security architecture, incident response, SIEM monitoring, and stakeholder coordination. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, hold or obtain a DoD security clearance, have 3–5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in federal, DoD, or similarly regulated environments, and possess relevant certifications and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. The position pays $112,000–$178,000 plus variable compensation and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
