## Description

The Data Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT architectures using Google’s distributed data systems, including advanced SQL and Python. The role supports the modernization of Google Ads Data Infrastructure and Customer Data Platform, translates business requirements into technical data solutions, collaborates with data scientists and business analysts, and maintains data quality through design documentation, code reviews, and bug resolution. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least one year of data-processing and algorithm experience, client-facing project experience, database or data-engineering experience, and software development experience in one of several listed languages. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, data-warehouse and Big Data experience, machine learning experience, and experience building high-availability applications.
