## Description

The Embedded Software Co-op is a two-position internship for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. The role develops and maintains C/C++ embedded software and firmware for optical transport systems, designs real-time embedded solutions, supports RTOS-based platforms, integrates software with hardware, ARM processors, and FPGA-based components, and troubleshoots complex system-level issues. The internship is hybrid in Richardson, Texas, with winter, summer, fall, or December 2027 schedules of 4, 8, 12, or 16 months.
