## Description

Archer is hiring an embedded software engineer to independently lead the architectural design, development, and verification of safety-critical software for the aircraft Charge Control Unit. The role directs charge-control system implementation, interfaces with high-voltage and analog/digital hardware, leads DO-178C and DO-326A compliance, supports FAA certification audits, develops fault-detection algorithms, analyzes hardware schematics and power networks, and mentors junior and mid-level engineers. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least 60 months of experience with safety-critical C/C++ embedded software, RTOS, HIL testing, and communication protocols are required. The position offers $255,653 to $268,435.65 per year and does not offer work visa sponsorship.
