## Description

Qualcomm Canada ULC is hiring a Principal Firmware Engineer to lead embedded firmware development for SerDes PHY IP used in data center, AI/ML, automotive, and compute applications. The role owns firmware architecture, C/C++ implementation, silicon bring-up, validation, diagnostics, SDKs, and production delivery, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with hardware, systems, DV, and application teams. The position requires a BS/MS in a relevant engineering field and 7+ years of embedded C/C++ firmware experience, with leadership experience and strong silicon-debug skills; SerDes, high-speed IO, calibration, RTOS, Python, and digital-design knowledge are preferred.
