## Description

Blue Origin is hiring a Flight Software Engineering Manager for its Lunar Permanence business unit to manage and coach software engineers responsible for safety-critical flight software for lunar vehicles. The role collaborates with subsystem stakeholders, NASA, and national team partners; guides technical decisions; and reports to the Flight Software Integrated Product Lead. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s or advanced degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience or 8 years with a master’s or PhD, plus 5+ years in spaceflight or safety-critical industries and 5+ years in embedded systems software engineering. The position offers base pay of $148,103.00–$207,343.50 for Colorado applicants and $161,567.00–$226,193.10 for Washington applicants, along with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
