## Description

Rocket Lab is hiring an IT Systems Engineer II – Launch (Linux) for an onsite role at its Auckland, New Zealand facility. The position provides escalated troubleshooting and advanced technical support for network infrastructure, systems, and integrations; leads Linux and DevOps infrastructure upgrades, standards, security, high availability, disaster recovery, and documentation; and participates in an on-call rotation supporting 24/7/365 Launch Mission Operations. Candidates need at least five years of IT experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and two or more years in a Linux or DevOps-focused technology role, along with hands-on Linux administration, enterprise Linux architecture, configuration management, infrastructure as code, and networking experience.
