## Description

Empower is hiring a Lead Data Engineer to provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, data solutions, and data platforms. The role leads complex data initiatives, mentors engineers, enforces governance, security, and quality standards, and collaborates with architects and stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise standards. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 6 to 8+ years of data engineering experience, advanced Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing expertise. Empower offers a flexible work environment, comprehensive benefits, and a base salary range of $125,400 to $181,875, and the job does not offer visa sponsorship.
