## Description

Salesforce is hiring a Lead Network Engineer for its Infrastructure Strategy and Data Center Operations team to support the Salesforce Global Network and backbone infrastructure. The role manages network capacity, connectivity, peering relationships, PoP builds, routing architecture, router migrations, network design, vendor coordination, and automation using Python and Ansible. Candidates need at least seven years of production network experience, carrier-class router and Cisco Nexus switch experience, BGP and IS-IS knowledge, WDM understanding, strong Python and Unix/Linux skills, network automation experience, and a related technical degree. The typical base salary is $172,500–$260,100 annually, with $207,800–$285,800 in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas.
