## Description

Capital One is hiring a Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack to own the lifecycle of a large, high-velocity data ecosystem and lead its migration from a Cloudera-based HBase, Kafka, and NiFi stack to an AWS-native serverless and managed architecture. The role maintains current production systems, coordinates application-team refactoring, enforces data governance and security, and modernizes ingestion pipelines using AWS MSK, Lambda, and Glue. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least four years of software engineering experience, and at least one year of cloud computing experience, with several AWS and Hadoop-related qualifications preferred.
