General Motors is hiring a Manufacturing Execution Engineer GA for ME Optimization to lead General Assembly manufacturing optimization projects across multiple assembly sites. The role coordinates and executes automation, tooling, material-flow, workstation, and equipment-integration projects; manages budgets, timelines, vendors, plant launches, and continuous improvement; and provides technical direction to internal and external teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, at least five years of manufacturing engineering experience, and three years supporting manufacturing launches. The position is hybrid, requires travel of 25–50%, and does not provide immigration sponsorship.
