## Description

Antares is hiring Level I and Level II Mechanical Design Engineers for its Mission Engineering team to support hardware design and development for nuclear power systems in space and on the Moon and Mars. Responsibilities include requirements definition, CAD modeling, system analysis, design reviews, testing, interfaces, manufacturing planning, tooling, and cross-disciplinary coordination. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related physics-based field, 1–3+ years of space system mechanical design experience, and CAD and PLM experience. The position is full-time and on-site in Torrance, California, with salaries of $90,000–$105,000 for Level I and $115,000–$150,000 for Level II.
