## Description

The Medical Receptionist greets patients and visitors, manages phone, fax, and electronic messages, registers patients in the EMR, schedules and confirms appointments, coordinates telehealth and offsite visits, handles insurance eligibility and prior authorization, collects payments, and maintains the front desk and waiting areas. The role may also escort patients to exam rooms, perform daily exam-room maintenance, and conduct weekly supply inventory. A high school diploma or GED and one year of medical-office experience are required; eClinicalWorks experience, bilingual Spanish, Creole, or French ability, and willingness to travel are preferred or required. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and one Sunday per month.
