## Description

Aegon is hiring an API Developer for its IT Development team to design, develop, test, maintain, and document APIs. The role involves collaborating with design, analysis, and project teams; creating technical specifications; implementing algorithms and data structures; performing unit and integration testing; resolving bugs, performance, capacity, and security issues; and documenting code. The position requires 4–5 years of Mulesoft API development experience, knowledge of REST and SOAP, microservices, API security, encryption, Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Oracle and PostgreSQL, and tools such as Eclipse, Maven, GIT, and JUnit.
