Datavant is hiring an Outpatient Coder to review medical records, assign and sequence diagnosis and procedure codes, determine discharge disposition, abstract coded data, and communicate coding issues. The role requires at least two years of multispecialty coding experience, AHIMA or AAPC certification, proficiency in outpatient specialties, and experience with computerized encoding and abstracting software. It is fully remote with a flexible schedule, offers benefits for full-time employees, and pays $20–$35 USD per hour.
