## Description

The University of Konstanz is hiring a part-time Physics/Materials Engineer for 67% of full-time work, up to pay group 12 TV-L, in the Department of Physics. The role focuses on developing and optimizing thin-film manufacturing processes, depositing thin films and heterostructures, applying lithography and microstructuring techniques, characterizing samples, assessing process safety, troubleshooting equipment and processes, supporting physical experiments, and coordinating external companies. Applicants need substantial physics-and-technology expertise, thin-film deposition or microstructuring experience, programming experience, and strong German and English skills.
