## Description

Oracle is hiring a Principal Member of Technical Staff to lead the development and architecture of Lightweight Infrastructure, a next-generation runtime and platform layer for compute, storage, networking, identity, observability, and governance. The role focuses on designing scalable, elastic, fault-tolerant, and highly available distributed systems; establishing reliability, performance, telemetry, and SLOs; troubleshooting production issues; implementing security and compliance controls; and developing infrastructure-as-code and change-management automation. The position requires a computer science degree or equivalent practical experience, 6–10+ years of software engineering experience, and strong systems or backend programming skills, with a US hiring range of $114,600 to $234,600 per annum.
