## Description

The Program Assistant Intern I is an entry-level 1099 independent contractor internship supporting nonprofit mental health and community wellness programs in Baltimore, Maryland. The role coordinates workshops and programs, maintains participant records, supports outreach and communications, prepares materials, provides logistical and client-facing assistance, tracks program metrics, maintains records and inventory, and supports grant writing and shadowing. It requires enrollment in a relevant degree program, strong organizational and communication skills, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace proficiency, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Compensation is $15 per hour billable per service, with hybrid work and benefits including hands-on experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
