## Description

PenBay is hiring a part-time Remote Pilot Operator to simulate pilot actions and air traffic control communications during medium- and high-fidelity training exercises. The role uses CRT, keyboard, and voice communication systems to receive student commands, enter automated-system entries, translate information into ATC terminology, and respond using proper phraseology. No aviation experience is required, but computer-operator, RPO, air traffic control, or student-pilot experience is desirable. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of comparable experience, a minimum of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy, strong communication and teamwork skills, and pass FAA security screening. RPOs must complete knowledge and skills tests and achieve simulation laboratory certification within 120 days of reporting.
