## Description

STEMCELL Technologies is hiring an Upstream Process Development Scientist to lead and execute upstream process development for protein production, from experimental design through scale-up and technology transfer. The role serves as a subject matter expert for cGMP protein manufacturing, oversees process development and risk assessment, analyzes experimental data, develops and transfers standard operating procedures, investigates non-conformances, and collaborates with R&D, quality, regulatory, and CDMO teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years, a master’s degree with 4–8 years, or a PhD with 2–5 years of relevant experience, along with expertise in mammalian cell-line protein production, process scale-up, design of experiments, statistical methods, and quality by design. The annual salary is $85,700–$128,500, with health benefits and other rewards.
