## Description

Snap Inc. is hiring a threat-intelligence-focused Security Engineer for its Detection and Response team in Sydney. The role researches and tracks sophisticated threat actors, develops threat intelligence and detection/response capabilities, builds Python or Go tools and automations using AI, designs logging and alerting across endpoints, infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments, and leads incident response with global stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience and at least three years in incident response, detection engineering, or related security disciplines. It follows Snap's default-together policy, requiring office work four or more days per week.
