## Description

Microsoft is hiring a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to build and own the data foundation for CSS Intelligence & Applied AI. The role designs real-time and batch pipelines, semantic models, certified measures, APIs, data quality and observability, deployment pipelines, and serving infrastructure that support detection, executive reporting, and AI agents. It requires strong SQL, Python, distributed processing, dimensional and semantic modeling, data governance, and software engineering practices, along with a relevant degree and 2–4 years of experience depending on the education path. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $106,400–$203,600 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
