## Description

Skyways is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to own mechanical subsystems from concept through build, testing, and flight validation for autonomous aircraft. The role involves designing structural and mechanical components, developing prototypes, leading subsystem design reviews, coordinating integration across structures, avionics, propulsion, and payload systems, and partnering with manufacturing to support production scaling. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, aircraft or flight-vehicle hardware experience, strong CAD and mechanical design skills, and the ability to design from first principles.
