## Description

eBay is hiring a Senior Member of Technical Staff for its NuData team in Bengaluru to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed database platforms. The role owns complex technical initiatives and components, contributes to architecture and tradeoffs, improves scalability and reliability, debugs production systems, partners with customers and globally distributed teams, and mentors engineers. Candidates need a master’s degree in computer science or a related field with 10+ years of experience, or a PhD with equivalent experience, along with extensive distributed-systems and database expertise, advanced programming experience, and familiarity with cloud-native technologies.
