Aptive is hiring a full-time Software Architect in Provo, Utah to own the technical blueprint for its Aspyn platform and lead the migration from legacy FieldRoutes/PestRoutes systems to modern, well-bounded services. The role defines service boundaries, integrations, data-platform interfaces, architectural standards, reference implementations, and architecture decision records while guiding engineers and ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and cost. Candidates need 8+ years of software or systems engineering experience, including 3+ years in architecture or staff-level work, along with distributed systems, cloud-native, data, migration, and integration expertise.
