## Description

Skydio is hiring a Software Engineer to build and evolve its high-fidelity, real-time simulator. The role focuses on core simulator architecture, vehicle physics and dynamics, camera and IMU sensor simulation, hardware emulation, and integration and validation of the full autonomy stack. The engineer will develop C++ and Python components, optimize performance and realism, debug complex interactions, and collaborate with autonomy, perception, controls, and other engineering teams. Prior robotics experience is not required, but strong software engineering experience with C++ and Python, complex-systems experience, and comfort with time-synchronized or real-time systems are required.
