## Description

Apple is hiring a Special Projects Engineer to help develop and operate a large-scale simulation testing platform that uses virtual devices and physical hardware. The role focuses on improving test-run cost and duration through parallelism and scheduling, building backend services and web front ends, maintaining the platform as products evolve, and monitoring deployments and test results. The engineer will work with Python, HTTP services, relational databases, frontend technologies, cloud infrastructure, networking, remote execution, and Linux or macOS systems, with additional experience in virtualization, CI/CD, systems languages, Apple platforms, authentication, cryptography, and machine learning considered preferred.
