## Description

Chime is hiring a backend engineer to build and scale the infrastructure powering its member support platform, including voice calls, live chat, agent routing, AI-powered self-service, call and chat summarization, agent provisioning, IVR and authentication, and data and observability systems. The role involves production backend development, API design, testing, monitoring, reliability improvements, and on-call participation. It requires at least three years of production software development experience, Ruby on Rails or comparable framework experience, transactional database and caching experience, and exposure to large-scale web application architecture. The base salary starts at $133,000 and can go up to $184,000, with full-time employees eligible for a bonus, equity, and benefits.
