1. Senior Unity Developer at Ex Populus

Ex Populus, a game development studio led by industry veterans from prestigious companies like Pixar and Ubisoft, is seeking a Senior Unity Developer to join their team remotely. The studio focuses on creating high-end indie games for PC and console, with two highly anticipated projects in the pipeline: Final Form and LAMOverse. As a Senior Unity Developer, you'll play a vital role in the development process, contributing technical solutions to enhance the quality, performance, and usability of game features and tools.

In this full-time, permanent role, you'll collaborate closely with the content team to implement new game features and services while ensuring player comfort and game performance. Your responsibilities will include keeping the existing engine and tools up-to-date with the latest developments in the development pipeline, identifying and mitigating technical risks, and writing robust, optimized, and maintainable code. Additionally, you'll work within an Agile environment, liaising with producers, product managers, and designers to meet project requirements and deadlines.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess at least 5 years of Unity game development experience, a strong grasp of object-oriented programming languages like C#, and expertise in gameplay programming and software design patterns. Experience with unit testing, delivering games for PC and console, and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are also essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for gaming, a thirst for learning and personal growth, and the ability to adapt to iterative design changes in a positive work environment.
