More Than Half of Tines' 100 New Dublin Jobs Will Be Entry-Level Roles for Graduates and Early-Career Hires
Tines plans 100 jobs in Ireland over two years, and more than half will be entry-level roles for graduates and early-career workers. See how to get ready.

Tines, an Irish-founded AI company, plans to create 100 jobs in Ireland over the next two years, with more than half of the roles earmarked for new entrants to the jobs market. Those entry-level roles are aimed at graduates and early-career professionals, and the new roles overall will be in all teams across the organisation, from product and engineering to sales, marketing and customer success. The company also plans to open a new Dublin headquarters later this year to house the growing team. For Metaintro readers who are finishing a degree or are only a year or two into work, this guide covers which teams are hiring, what two Irish listings on the Tines careers page ask for, what one pays, and how to get ready for the entry-level roles.
What Exactly Is Tines Announcing in Ireland?
The headline number is 100 new Dublin jobs over the next two years, more than half of which will be entry-level, targeting those just entering the jobs market. That is a two-year plan, so the 100 new jobs over the next two years are roles the company intends to fill over time, not 100 vacancies open this week.
The exact wording on the entry-level share matters. More than half the roles would be entry-level, giving graduates and those early on in their careers a way to get a foothold in the AI sector. No precise count of graduate places has been given in the RTÉ story or the Irish Times story, so more than half is the most precise figure available.
The building plan is part of the same announcement. Tines is planning to open a new Dublin headquarters later this year, described as a move to facilitate its ongoing growth. No address, size or opening date for the new headquarters appears in the RTÉ story or the Irish Times story, and neither gives a total Irish headcount.
Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke said the jobs demonstrate the strength of opportunity from Ireland’s AI talent and innovation base, and Enterprise Ireland chief executive Jenny Melia described Tines as a standout example of an Irish firm building and scaling a global AI company from Ireland.
Who Are the Entry-Level Roles Aimed At?
The target group is graduates and people early in their careers. The roles are meant to offer graduates and early-career professionals a direct route into the fast-growing AI sector, and more than half of the new jobs will be entry-level, aimed at graduates and early-career professionals.
The chief executive linked the hiring to AI creating new careers. Eoin Hinchy said "AI is changing the world of work, but we believe that it will create new and interesting careers, including in companies like ours."
The minister said "the strong focus on graduates and early-career professionals will create new pathways into a sector that will be increasingly important to our economy."
No preferred degrees or graduate pay for the entry-level roles are named in the RTÉ story or its Irish Times coverage.
As we grow, it’s important that we open the door to talented graduates and early-career professionals to build career pathways in this new space, co-founder and CEO Eoin Hinchy said, according to the Irish Times story.
Which Teams Will Hire, and What Does Tines Build?
The new roles will be across its product, engineering, sales, customer success, marketing and operations teams. Because the 100 roles cover sales, customer service, marketing and operations as well as product development and engineering, they are not all engineering jobs.
The roles are meant to support the company’s next phase of growth for its Tines 3B platform, which was launched during the summer. Tines 3B is an AI-native platform for building, running and governing enterprise workflows, applications and agents.
In plain terms, the platform is designed to let users describe a workflow or application in natural language, after which the system generates it using authorised tools, systems and data. Those apps and agents can then be deployed with controls around credentials, execution and logging, and Tines says clients such as Fin and Headspace use it with IT and security overseeing how they are used.
Its founders spent more than a decade as senior security operators before they started building Tines, and the company still describes itself as born in security, used by everyone. Today it helps employees in companies to build software with AI and automate their workflows, and its Tines Stories product will continue to be available to customers.
What Can Job Seekers See on the Tines Careers Page Now?
Applications go through the Tines careers page. Tines lists 27 open positions on its current careers page worldwide, and its location filter includes Dublin and Ireland (Remote) options alongside Boston, Sydney and United States locations.
The Irish listings on the open positions list include these roles.
- Field Marketing Specialist, EMEA, listed for Dublin
- Technical Support Engineer I, listed as Ireland (Remote)
- Legal Counsel (EMEA), Manager (Sales Compensation) and Senior Manager (Pricing), each with an Ireland location
None of the titles on the open positions list uses the word graduate, and none is labelled as an entry-level role. The graduate share of the 100 jobs is a plan over two years, so treat the current list as a snapshot and check back often.
The team filter on the careers page includes Sales Development, Customer Success, Knowledge, Education & Support, Marketing and Product.
What Do the Current Irish Listings Ask For and Pay?
Two Irish listings, a support role and a marketing role, show what those two roles ask for, even though neither is a graduate role.
The Technical Support Engineer I role in Ireland asks for 2+ years of technical support experience within a SaaS environment, ideally in automation or a related field. It also asks for familiarity with at least one modern programming language, such as Python, TypeScript, or Ruby, and familiarity with query languages such as SQL and GraphQL.
That support role has a set weekly schedule. The role works Sunday to Wednesday, from 6:00 am to 16:00 local time, with Sunday shifts worked solo as part of a follow-the-sun rotation. Fluent German is listed as desirable experience, not a must.
The Field Marketing Specialist listing for EMEA asks for two to four years experience in B2B field marketing, regional marketing, or event marketing, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or enterprise technology environment. Its target annual compensation is €55,000-€75,000.
Both the support listing and the marketing listing carry the same note to hesitant applicants, telling them that if you’re second-guessing your application, we hope you’ll trust your gut and take the leap too. Both listings also say Tines staff are big believers in learning and growth, which matters for anyone thinking about a career pivot.
What Benefits Does Tines List for Permanent Staff?
Tines lists these benefits for permanent roles.
- 25 days of annual leave for all employees locations worldwide, plus extra company-wide holidays
- Startup equity along an extended exercise window, where the exercise window extends to 5 years after 2 years of working here
- Matching contributions to your retirement or pension plan and private healthcare coverage
- An annual education reimbursement allowance and a monthly allowance toward phone and home internet costs
For a first job, the education allowance and equity are the items to ask about in an interview, since the careers page gives no amounts for either. Tines also lists The Sunday Times Ireland Best places to work award for 2025 and a place in the Deloitte Ireland Technology Fast 50 for 2025 among its awards.
The creation of 100 new roles, more than half at entry level, will open new career pathways into AI and help build the talent base for Ireland’s next generation of technology companies, Enterprise Ireland CEO Jenny Melia said, according to the RTÉ story.
What Is the International AI Summit Happening This Week?
The jobs news came ahead of the International AI Summit which takes place on Wednesday in Dublin, and the summit runs on 14th October 2026 at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS), Merrion Road, Ballsbridge.
The summit is part of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026, and it serves as the official launch of European AI Innovation Month. Its themes include skills and talent development, alongside competitiveness, trustworthy AI and investment.
Sixteen of the world’s top twenty global technology companies and eight of the leading providers of foundational AI models have their main EU establishment in Ireland, according to the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment. Tines plans to be there too, with an invitation to meet the Tines team at the International AI Summit at the RDS, Dublin on October 14.
Burke tied the two together, saying that as Ireland hosts the International AI Summit this week, our focus is on ensuring that more Irish companies can develop AI technologies here, scale internationally and create high-value jobs at home.
How Is This Different From the Boston Jobs Plan From March?
This is a separate plan from an earlier one, and the two should not be added together. In March 2026, Tines announced 100 new jobs in Boston, a headcount that would represent a 42pc increase on the 237 employees Tines had in the US in March.
Those US roles were to be spread across product, engineering, customer experience, sales and marketing, and that earlier plan made no entry-level pledge in the March jobs story. The Irish plan is the one with the graduate focus, as more than half of the new jobs will be entry-level.
Earlier this year Tines also opened a new hub in Boston, and a formal hub in Sydney.
Who Is Tines, and How Is It Funded?
Tines was founded by Hinchy and Thomas Kinsella in 2018, and it is co-headquartered in Dublin and Boston. Its customers include SAP, Mars, Reddit, Coinbase and Fin, formerly Intercom.
Tines reached unicorn status in February 2025 after a $125m Series C round, and its most recent valuation is $1.125 billion (€1 billion), following a Series C round last year. It has raised USD $272 million from investors including Goldman Sachs, SoftBank, Felicis, Addition, Accel, Blossom Capital and Lux Capital.
Its enterprise customer base tripled year on year, and it processes more than 1.5 billion automated actions each week, Tines said at the July 2026 launch of 3B.
What This Means for Graduates and Early-Career Job Seekers, and What Should You Do Next?
The useful part of this plan for new entrants is that the company has earmarked more than half the roles for new entrants. The 100 new jobs are spread over the next two years, and the two current Irish listings checked, Technical Support Engineer I and Field Marketing Specialist, ask for 2+ years and two to four years of experience respectively.
- Watch the right page. Check the Tines careers page and filter by Dublin and Ireland (Remote). Use the team filter for Sales Development, Customer Success and Knowledge, Education & Support, and read our customer success manager career path guide if that team appeals.
- Look beyond engineering. The plan covers sales, customer service, marketing and operations as well as product and engineering, so the roles are not limited to engineering.
- Build the skills the support listing names. The Technical Support Engineer I listing asks for 2+ years of technical support experience within a SaaS environment, ideally in automation or a related field plus practical experience constructing, testing, and debugging REST and GraphQL API requests, using developer documentation and SDK examples to understand and troubleshoot integrations.
- Learn the product story. Tines 3B is built for building, running and governing enterprise workflows, applications and agents, so be ready to explain why governance matters when anyone can build software with AI.
- Apply even if you are not a perfect match. The listings say if you’re second-guessing your application, we hope you’ll trust your gut and take the leap too.
