AVANCE ( A-vahn-ceh ), the Spanish word for “advance” or “progress,” is a non-profit organization that has been serving the needs of low-income families since its founding in Texas in 1973. We are dedicated to serving the hardest-to-reach population, and to empowering families with the skills and knowledge they need to break the cycle of poverty.
