What their customers say
Quotes from people at Purcell's customers.
“Right from the gorgeous drawings and seeing the wood and timbers that were going to be used for our house, we were very impressed with Purcell. The budget you proposed was very aggressive and you did such an amazing job sticking to it as well as our very tight timeline of just 8 months. Our window package is gorgeous and we love our stairs… I have never seen anything like them. The additional help offered with the hardwood floors and windows worked out amazing! When our friends and family visit, they are always amazed at our beautiful home. We love our home!”
“We came to Purcell with our vision and feel for a mountain dream home. Purcell transformed that into reality. As it is the essence of our home, we set the highest expectations for quality craftsmanship in the timber frame. Purcell’s dedicated team achieved.”
“We were impressed by how quickly and creatively the folks at Purcell Timber Frames were able to put our design ideas into a plan that worked so well with the location. The quality of materials and craftsmanship of the timber frame is evident throughout. Purcell has definitely met all our expectations. The product speaks for itself: beautiful.”
“We are indeed loving our new home. You and your design and construction team were great to work with from the start. The design is unique and the layout really works for us. The open plan has proven to be quite efficient to operate through all seasons. We would definitely work with you folks again. Thanks to all of you for making it happen for us.”
“As an engineer I was impressed with Purcell’s ability to communicate during design and their ability to facilitate non-conventional ideas. I like to focus on the details that you don’t see, and after two years I’m still impressed with their roofing structure, ceiling finish and the overall envelope design. Thanks to Purcell I was able to finish the house into one of the most cost-effective, energy-efficient houses in the area.”

“It is with great pleasure to tell you how happy we are with the final result of this project. Right from the start and the planning stages, all the way through the last piece of timber set, it has been a positive and enjoyable experience working with you. Our expectations were not only met but exceeded by your fine craftmanship, the reliability of your quotes and services and foremost by a friendly and professional approach by everybody of your firm who was involved. Keep up the great work!”
“We would like to thank you and everyone at Purcell, especially your guys who used their incredible skill to engineer and build our home. The last-minute decision to add the exterior stairs the way you did was genius! Not to mention the foundation. Spectacular! Last week, we (Sandra and baby Vivienne) and a few of our closest friends spent our first few days in our dream home on the lake. The home delivered in every way we had dreamed it would. Thank you.”
“We want to thank you and everyone at Purcell for building us a beautiful contemporary home – we absolutely love it! From start to finish all details of the job were handled with ease and a high degree of professionalism. From the initial design, where we were able to work back and forth to achieve the perfect layout to suit us, all the way through to completion (and sticking to budget as well!!). Our rugged rocky lot did not pose a challenge to your team – the foundation and house sit perfectly for amazing views. The timbers are gorgeous; we could not be more pleased. All the best.”
