What their customers say
Quotes from people at Torrey Pines Animal Hospital's customers.
“I’ve been to quite a few vets over the years with my two dogs, and after my first visit with the vets at Torrey Pines I knew I wouldn’t have to keep looking. One of my dogs needs a little extra special care and Dr. McClellan and the whole team take great care of him. All of the doctors here are amazing – they are caring and knowledgeable, always keeping my animals best interest in mind. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and always make the trips enjoyable. If you have a pet and live in San Diego, you should be going to Torrey Pines Animal Hospital!”
“The place I was longing for to take care of my poodle. A nice collaboration of vets . There is always someone to take care of your pet. The fact they are open 7 days a week makes you feel comfortable . You know you will always find someone when your pet needs. Highly recommend.”
“Best vets I’ve ever had. We have a 12 year old dog, 11 year old cat and a 9 year old cat, and have gone through dozens of vets throughout our lives until we found Dr McClellan. He makes our nervous aggressive dog comfortable, and makes our needs a priority. The staff are kind, professional and always accommodating. If we ever move to another city, I would probably travel just to bring my pets to this vet.”
“As a puppy, he felt the love from the vets and staff. We had lots of questions and got good advice over the past couple of years. As a result, my yellow Labrador is a very healthy and happy dog.”
“Our kitty Millie always gets her medical needs met @ Torrey Pines Animal Hospital. They very kind and professional looking after our little kitty family member!”

“Our current dogs come here and they are our favorite vet office we’ve ever worked with in the 25 years that we’ve been pet owners. Thank you TPAH! Hands down the best in San Diego.”
“This is the best vet in San Diego by far! We’ve been going there for 2 years and seen a couple of different vets, and every single one has been kind and knowledgeable. No matter the issue, they handle it professionally and make you feel reassured through the whole process. I’ve recommended many friends to come here and I will keep doing so. My pup has had pretty major surgery here and they have handled it perfectly and my pup was completely recovered within a week and is back to her usual self. I can’t recommend them enough!!”
