Managing Your Metaintro Account
Your Metaintro account gives you access to Threads conversations, your resume builder, saved jobs, and personalized career recommendations. This guide covers the most common account management tasks.
How to Reset Your Password
If you have forgotten your password or need to change it, follow these steps:
- Go to the Metaintro login page
- Click the "Forgot Password" link below the password field
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Check your inbox for a password reset email from Metaintro
- Click the reset link in the email and follow the instructions to create a new password
A few things to keep in mind:
- The reset link expires after a limited time, so use it promptly
- Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email within a few minutes
- Make sure you enter the same email address you used to create your account
Social Authentication Accounts
If you signed up for Metaintro using a social login provider such as Google, you may not have a traditional Metaintro password. Here is how this works:
- Google sign-in - your authentication is managed by Google. To sign in, click the Google button on the login page.
- Other social providers - the same principle applies. Use the corresponding social login button rather than entering an email and password.
If you originally signed up with a social provider and want to add a password to your account, you can use the "Forgot Password" flow with the email address linked to your social account. This will allow you to set a Metaintro-specific password while keeping the social login option available.
Changing Your Email Address
Changing the email address associated with your Metaintro account is not yet supported through the in-app settings page. We are actively working on adding this feature.
In the meantime, if you need to update your email address, please contact our support team:
- Email support@metaintro.com from the email address currently associated with your account
- Include your current email and the new email address you would like to use
- Our team will verify your identity and process the change
Other Account Settings
Your account settings page allows you to manage several aspects of your Metaintro experience:
- Profile information - update your name, location, and career preferences
- Notification preferences - control which emails and alerts you receive
- Privacy settings - manage your data sharing and visibility preferences
To access your settings, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen and select Settings from the dropdown menu.

Q: I signed up with Google but now I want to use a password instead. Is that possible?
Yes. Use the "Forgot Password" flow on the login page with the email address linked to your Google account. This will let you set a Metaintro-specific password. Your Google sign-in option will still work — you will just have both available.
Q: Where do I find my account settings?
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen and select Settings from the dropdown menu. From there you can update your profile information, manage notifications, adjust privacy settings, and change your language preference.
Q: My password reset email never arrived. What should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder — reset emails sometimes end up there. Make sure you entered the exact email address you used to sign up. If you still do not see it after a few minutes, contact support@metaintro.com and our team will help you regain access.
