What Team Help Means in Threads
Most of the time, Marsh — Metaintro's AI — can answer your questions, surface job matches, and guide your search on its own. But every job seeker has moments when they want a real person to weigh in: a tricky offer to evaluate, a confusing piece of feedback, an urgent account question, or a situation that feels too important to leave to AI alone.
That's what Request Team Help is for. It's a built-in way to bring the Metaintro team into any Thread — without leaving the conversation or starting over somewhere else. You stay in the same chat, with all your context intact, and a real person joins to help.
How to Request Team Help
- Open the Thread where you need help.
- Tap the + button located at the bottom of the Thread, next to the chat bar.
- Select "Request Team Help" from the menu that appears. You'll see the option labeled "Get a real person from our team to help with your question."
- Add a short note explaining what you need — even one or two sentences helps the team jump in quickly.
- Send the request. You'll see a confirmation that a team member has been notified.
That's it. Your request is now in the queue, and you can keep using the Thread normally while you wait.

When to Request Team Help
Team Help is the right choice when:
- Marsh isn't answering what you actually need. If the AI keeps missing the point or giving generic responses, a human can step in.
- You're facing a high-stakes decision. Comparing two offers, negotiating a salary, deciding whether to leave a role — moments where a second pair of human eyes really matters.
- Something feels off about a listing or recruiter. If you suspect a job posting is fake or a recruiter looks suspicious, request help so we can investigate.
- You're stuck on the platform itself. Account issues, missing features, unexpected errors — anything you'd normally email support, you can request directly from inside the Thread.
- You want a sanity check. Sometimes you just want a real person to confirm you're on the right track. That's a perfectly good reason to ask.
What Happens After You Request Help
Once you send a request:
- A member of the Metaintro team is notified and reviews the full conversation history in your Thread.
- They reply directly inside the same Thread, so you don't have to repeat your context or move to email.
- Marsh stays fully available — keep asking questions, searching for jobs, or saving listings while you wait.
- You'll get a notification when a human responds.
Most requests receive a first response within one business day. Time-sensitive issues (like account access problems) are prioritized.
Tips for Getting the Best Help
- Be specific in your note. "I need help comparing two offers" gets faster, better support than "I have a question."
- Leave the conversation history intact. Don't delete previous messages — that context helps the team understand exactly where you are.
- Upload anything relevant. Resumes, offer letters, or screenshots all give the team more to work with. You can attach files from the same + menu.
- Use Team Help for the moments that matter most. Marsh handles most questions well on its own, so save the human touch for when it'll really make a difference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is requesting Team Help free?
Yes — requesting a real person from the Metaintro team is included in your account at no extra cost. Use it whenever you need human support on your job search.
Q. How long until someone responds?
Most requests get a first response within one business day. Urgent issues like account access or billing problems are picked up faster. If something is truly time-critical, mention that in your note when you send the request.
Q. Will Marsh stop working in my Thread after I request help?
No. Marsh stays fully active the whole time. You can keep searching for jobs, asking questions, and saving listings while you wait for a human response — there's no need to pause your search.
