Sigma Defense is hiring an Application Developer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division’s Engineering Life-Cycle Management & Development Resources program. The role focuses on modernizing Java-based applications, developing TypeScript and Vue.js components, supporting Oracle databases, maintaining security and compliance, and participating in Agile software development. Candidates need relevant application-development experience, Java and Git experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience, and a U.S. citizen status; a Secret security clearance or higher is required, with sponsorship possible. The salary range is $80,000 to $110,000 annually, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
