Description
The Tooling and Die Maintenance Technician maintains, repairs, and prepares compound, progressive, transfer, and restrike dies; troubleshoots tooling; installs and corrects die-support components; calculates die clearance and shear; retimes components; sets up and operates manual machines and Proto Trak equipment; completes tooling work orders and press logs; participates in die tryouts and continuous improvement; and mentors less-experienced associates. The role uses computer software, measuring tools, pressroom equipment, and welding and cutting equipment, and may require flexible scheduling or overtime.
