Description
The Switcher safely and timely moves trailers between docks within a facility, supports dock and other labor teams, and may operate a fuel truck. The role requires driving 18-wheelers, conducting yard checks, communicating with dock crews and drivers, maintaining a safe work environment, and completing assigned dock work. It requires at least one year of experience driving a switcher or OTR trailer, an active driver's license, English fluency, and the ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work, including lifting up to 30 pounds unassisted.
