Description
This hands-on, non-production plant-maintenance role performs preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, rebuilds, and projects on plant equipment while meeting USDA, HACCP, GMFP, and company standards. The position trains and coaches other technicians, tracks parts usage, manages contracted projects, assists refrigeration specialists, and participates in HAZMAT activities. It requires machine-repair or accredited certification, five years of machine-repair experience, PLC and VFD troubleshooting, TIG stainless-steel welding, communication and computer skills, and the ability to work in wet, cold, confined, and physically demanding environments.
