Description
Vermont Precision Tools, Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator for its Made to Order Value Stream. The role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manual grinding, CNC grinding and lathes, heat treating, and sand blasting processes used to produce gage products. Responsibilities include maintaining production totals, meeting tight dimensional tolerances, using basic CNC programs, monitoring and inspecting parts, maintaining quality, reworking nonconforming products, entering data, and possibly operating chrome plating processes. The position is scheduled for the first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes medical, vision, dental, life insurance, paid time off, vacation, and a 401(k) match.
